One of the main attractions in spending your holiday in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez is its amazing beaches overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean sea, usually, at a temperature between 26° and 30°C.
For the feeling of sand between your toes, there are many seemingly endless stretches of fine sand close by. Those who prefer the wilder rocky beaches will not be disappointed either.
Whether you prefer sandy or rocky beaches, you will find nearby a beach that will suit your activity and mood. Here, we just give a selection of a few beaches as there are so many of them.
Port-Grimaud is closest, Sainte-Maxime town is convenient and La Nartelle is a long stretch of sand and, all, within 6 miles. Closest rocky beaches are “Plage des Gireliers” and “Calanque Tardieu” in Les Issambres within 10 miles.
Famous sandy Pampelonne beach deserves a mentionned and so does the Gigaro beach for its amazing sunset and fish feeding.
Seaside strolling comes into a league of its own with these beautifully scenic walks along the iconic shores of the Côte D'Azur. Three examples of such walks nearby: Port-Grimaud to Sainte-Maxime, the path of the “Douanier”, from Les Issambres to Saint-Aygulf, or from Gigaro to L'Escalet.
